About YMCA Camp Sequoia Lake

Sequoia Lake is summer camp at its best.

With the lake almost 3 miles around, we host five separate camp sites on the lake which serve our different programs independent from one another. This allows us to offer everything from puppetry to rock climbing, while providing a variety of experiential, age-appropriate activities for children and teens in our youth camp sites and for families at our family camp sites. Over the years, Sequoia Lake has become a second home for thousands of campers, young and old. This section of the website will help you learn more about Camp Sequoia Lake, its philosophy, and its policies.

Sequoia Lake is the perfect place to play, relax, and grow. Here are just a few of the reasons why:

Summertime Fun…

Explore the Giant Sequoias on a nature hike, learn how to sail on the lake, create unique leather bracelets that are just your size, or just relax in the sun while hanging out on the dock. Sequoia Lake creates an environment where it is easy to make new friends and memories that you’ll keep for a life time.

More than just another Vacation…

In all of our programs we teach honesty, responsibility, caring and respect. Our belief in building strong kids, strong families and strong communities is reflected in everything we do.

Scenic Sierras…

Providing quality camping programs since 1914, Sequoia Lake creates an environment that encourages heartfelt laughter around a campfire and interactive learning while trying something new. Surrounded by large pine trees Sequoia Lake is the perfect location to make new friends in a safe outdoor environment.

Quality Camping for Everyone…

From two months old to seniors, we have quality camping for everyone— our youth, teen and family camps are separate and independent programs that have been built with each groups needs and interests in mind.

Safe and Fun Role Models…

Every one of our hand-picked staff members receive intensive leadership and safety training. We choose people for their hardworking dedication and friendly spirit.
