Life at Camp Sequoia Lake

This section offers a glimpse into our facilities, activities, food, schedule, and more to give you a better idea of our Youth, Teen and Family programs. Unfortunately, we haven't figured out how to show you the sunshine, cool breeze, smell of pine trees, or fresh, crisp air. You'll just have to come experience that part for yourself.

Cabins

One of the most memorable parts of the summer camp experience is getting to live in cabin surrounded by nature and overlooking a Lake. Each camp site surrounding Sequoia Lake offers different styles of cabins to suit the needs of each of our programs. Below you will find a description of our cabins based on program.

Youth Camp

There is no better way to make new friends then to share a week at Youth Camp in a Cabin together. Cabins in Youth Camp are exactly what you would expect, rustic wooden buildings with bunk beds overlooking the lake. All cabins are clean, comfortable, spacious and houses between 8 and 12 campers (who are close in age) and one or two counselors. While at camp, cabin groups are like families and lifelong friendships can be forged between campers that last for years to come.

Family Camp

Imagine the experience of moving your family into a cabin surrounded by nature and overlooking a private lake. Your evenings spent sharing stories about the day and playing games.

In Family Camp we offer a variety of cabins sizes and models to accomodate any family and budget

Cabin Types:

  • Apartment: A modern cabin for campers who want every luxury of home. Each Apartment boasts its own restroom and shower, two Bederooms and a furnished living room. They sleep 8 on two queen beds and two bunks.
  • Winterized: Fully insulated these cabins offer class and comfort. A queen sized bed in the front is separated by a dividing wall from three bunks in the back, housing 8.
  • Divided: Our classic cabin. Built for the ages these cabins house 8 and offer a queen bed separated from three bunks in the back. Cabins offer shutter windows and have electricity.
  • Rustic: Rustic cabins provide your family the necessities. These cabins offer four bunk beds and space to store your belongings and are located on the edge of camp to provide optimum privacy and beauty of surroundings.
  • Tent/Trailer: If camping to you doesnt get better than putting up your own tent and rolling out your sleeping bag then our tent sites are for you. Right next to the waters edge each site has its own storage bin, picnic bench and level clearing.
